Everyone seems to be getting injured these days. Well, okay, I'm overexaggerating. First Loren hurts his ankle, then Peter hurts his knee. It turns out that Peter may have torn his meniscus. Not exactly sure what happens when one tears their meniscus, Loren and I spent some precious productivity time looking it up and discussing medical/injury topics. According to Loren, any injury to the knee pretty much means surgery. My first thought was, "I wish I could watch the surgery if Peter has to have one..." Hahah, some girlfriend I am.
So David, take it easy at the gym Mr. Muscles. No one else needs to get hurt, okay?

last saturday was lots of fun! reasons why it was so fun:
1) i got to hang out with vanessa and her drunken self
2) it was really chill at kitsch bar
3) i got to drive loc's Tsx! so cool that the clutch is EXACTLY like mine, meaning i had fun driving it down bristol! weeeeeeeee
4) we hung out in costa mesa where i only had to hope on the freeway and was able to get home within 10 minutes, meaning i didn't even have time to get sleepy. i miss hanging out in places near MY house.
5) i had no real schoolwork to worry about
yeah! fun times.

First Times the Charm
Seeing family today, I got a lot of "congratulations on med school" and "wow, we're impressed." One aunt said to her son, "look, you can follow in her footsteps!" As I was driving home, I chuckled and said to my Mom, "they don't know that I just got lucky. I got an interview for ONE school and got accepted to ONE school". i chuckled again, suckers! haha, i'm no genious!
i guess everything so far has really just fallen into place. that doesn't mean i haven't had to do some thinking and figuring out. david told me he and sabrina talked about peter and me one time. good things he says. i sure hope so. david said, sometimes it just works and there's no need for trial and error. well,we'll see what happens in a few years, i'll let you know david if you're right or not!
in other news, i wish i could take my sister with me.
