I didn't get the MSD research program, but my professor wants me to still work in the lab. I will gladly do so. I want this opportunity to do this. This is something new. And when I mentioned it to Peter he asked, "Why" Well because I want to. "But you're not getting paid." I don't mind, this is a good experience. "You're going to drive up to Fullerton every day when you don't have to?" What do you mean when I don't have to? If i want to do this, then I have to. "But why can't you just volunteer, something in your field?" It's somehting that I can learn from still, I want to do more than jsut volunteer in the hospital. Why are you asking me all these questions? Why can't you understand without me having to explain or justify why I want to do this? You don't understand me then. I don't have to get paid. I don't care about the money, i just want the experience to learn.
I got really offended and angry. I didnt' think i had to explain or justify why i want to do this. Am I the type of person to expect money from someone/something? Do i expect to get things in return for doing things?
I really just wanted to go home. But I already told him I'd go meet up with his friends. Sorry Vanessa and Chris if you were already there, I didn't realize that and I thought you guys were still in the area.

skin, muscle, fat, and bones. That's what are bodies are made of and what allows us to go on with our lives, right? what happens when the fat and the muscle are gone? when no food, water, blood is left? you're left with skin and bones. skin and bones. a body that shouldn't even be working but is because for some reason, the heart is still beating. but she can't even remember anything.
"Grandma, it's your granddaughter Thy. Do you remember who I am?"
"No, how do you know me? Who are you? Don't get married early."
"Grandma, do you know where you are?"
"Yes. I am in Saigon. You're a cute girl. Don't get married early, okay?
"Yes Grandma."

my cousins watched the lizzie maguire performance 4 times! and they were singing and dancing in my room. i went crazy, so i put in the sound of music for them. you guys can try to sing to julie andrews. it's music to my ears. hahah. anyways, unproductive day. i only got about 4 hours of studying in b/c i had family stuff today. i dont' know how many hours i can get in tomorrow either b/c i have stuff to do. oh well, i've almost given up on studying for finals already. someone remind me that i must do well. sigh.
