so the plans for thansgiving weekend:
thursday (thanksgiving day!): over to my aunt's house for thanksgiving dinner with family on my dad's side. we usually bring the ham. what is thanksgiving without ham?!!?
firday (day after thanksgiving): this is the big day. a get together with my dad's family times 3....it's my grandpa family, and his 2 siblings' family. so it's huge...thank goodness it is not at our house this year. it rotates...i think next year will be our house. the house we're going to this year is in laguna beach...at the top of the world. no one likes going there. it's a long drive up. vanessa, you know where, right? was it a long drive up?
saturday: usually we end up going to my other aunt's house and all the cousins hang out there and do nothing. but this year may be different. everyone is so busy.
sunday: all the counin's go to mass adn then they go back home up north. i'm playing 'sorry' right now...the disney edition!!! no, it's not mine! it's my little cousin's. he and his mom came to visit for a few days.
so yetserday i went with the addison boys to one of their little shows at claremont college. we almost hit the mountains. it was in the middle of nowhere. but it was really pretty. except really dry. but maybe it was just the weather yesterday. it was really windy and dry and COLD! if only it snowed there. i went with them in their 'big gray van.' yeah, that's one of their songs too. it was really cool though. they were warming up...harmonizing...not too bad i must say. it was cute. then on the way home, i doze off to them singing acoustic versions of foutnains of wayne songs.

fountains of wayne last night was GOOD. i just couldn't help but wish that vanessa and john were there with me to enjoy such great music. hey vanessa, remember the first time i heard fountains of wayne? we were in the caddy, going around bolsa i believe, and we had like 6 cds in the back. we put the cd player on random, and every time a song that i had not heard of before but liked had come on, i would ask, "who is this?" and everytime you would answer, 'fountains of wayne.'Sunday, November 24, 2002
i'm getting ready for the FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE show tonight! wow, to think i didn't really plan on going. why not? call it laziness, i guess. but i ended going that way anyways, so i got myself a ticket.so on friday, after school, i took jasmine and craig to disneyland. craig has never been. he's from ohio, that's why. and jasmine hasn't gone for like 4 years. so it was fun.
yesterday was quite an exhausting day. the addison boys were having a house warming party/painting party. i was planning on stopping by just for a little bit because supposedly i had thought that jennifer and i had planned to do something in the evening. but i guess there was a change of plans. she never called and i was up to my neck in paint, well not really, but i did get a few spots of paint on my neck. it came off easily with water...or spit! so addison's house is now red and yellow...remind you of anything? like mcdonalds? or burger king? or carls jr.?? yeah, it's a fact that those colors triggers hunger...something like that. anyways, their house looks good though, the white trimmings of the doors windows makes it look good.
