Wednesday, November 13, 2002 i had work today. what the heck? in the middle of the week? anyways, i got an award for good guest service or something. i had had a mystery guest come. cool cool. now i am 'studying' then i have class with jenn at 7:30.oh yeh, last friday, up in LA after the show when we were at Denny's, there were some girls who were eating with us that were at the show. they were sitting across from me. they had said i looked familiar but they didn't know from where. and then somehow they remembered that i was at a melee show at chain taking pictures. and then they said there was another girl on stage taking pictures too. i was like 'hello?!?!?!' and i pointed to jenn 2 seats from me. 'she's right there'. how could you recognize me before jenn? and then next to jenn was allison. hello?! how could you not recognize allison?!!! dumb! hahah. i don't know, it was weird. Tuesday, November 12, 2002 class was canceled today. woo hoo. jenn, jasmine, and i went over to addison's house to get some papers jasmine left and then we went to rite aid and got ice cream. in was completely broke. i only had a penny. jasmine and jenn paid for my ice cream. thanks guys.! it was so funny, they only had change so we were standing there counting out all our money like little kids who have saved up every single penny . friday: my one day off! i was so excited about getting some time off, yet somehow, i filled up my day doing errands, 'special' projects, and going to a show! how did i fit that in? no sleep i tell you, no sleep. okay, so i get off of school and get a scarf. i only wanted to go for a bit, but if my sister knew i had gone 'shopping', she would've been sad because she says i never take her anywhere. so i wrote her a note that morning to get her out of 6th period. we go and i found a really cool coat. after that, i met up with cliff, marie, and alex to do some stuff real quick. i had to leave earlier than planned because i thought i had more time to do stuff. i was getting a ride with jenn and david and we found out we had to leave earlier. so i had to haul ass and get through all the rain and all the traffic and got to david's house. we then headed up to la to a venue called 'C.I.A." It stands for 'California Institute of Abnormalarts" It was a museum by day, and a venue by night. but dude, let me just tell you, it was WEIRD. there was a mummified clown. and life size pirates.so we came to support some friends...addison and the classics. addison is really good. i was so impressed. the second band was called the bentleys. they were alright. jenn said they sounded a little bit like int' noise conspiracy. we were so tired that night that i sat on the side and jenn joined me later. allison took a picture of us while we were 'sleeping' and we were telling the boys of addison that we fell asleep during their set. hahaah, we were just playing. at exactly 12:01, we all sang happy birthday to jenn. aww, she was so happy. there were 4 bands playing so we didn't leave till late. we went to eat at denny's and didn't leave till 3. david was driving and jenn and i stayed awake to keep him awake. i could tell he was really tired. shoot, i was really tired. it was hard for me to stay awake. luckily we made it to his house. shoot, then it was my turn to drive myself home. man, i had to try singing to myself and at one point, i had to call my voice mail and re-record my message to stay awake. as i was gettting onto the 73 S. ramp from the 55, i think i was in such a daze and my eyes had glazed over, i thought i saw a little kid in a yellow rain coat on a tricycle. but i was like, it's the middle of the freeway! i changed lanes in my daze and i think that woke me up a little bit. I think it was the light from the lampost reflecting off of the water on the freeway. hey, it was 4 o'clock by then. i was tired! not good, huh? i know i know. i shouldn't have been driving, but i made it home though, so i'm alright. saturday: i woke up at 11. i should've slept in more! but i couldn't. that was all i could sleep. i got up and studied a bit and got ready for work. it rained a lot that day. i came to work and i only had a 4 hour shift. 10 minutes into my shift, they were gonna let someone ER and knowing me and my loud mouth, i was like, 'i'll go home.' and they were like, 'no......okay, go home.' yeah! so instead of getting some free time, i ended up doing errands and then i went to a family gathering which took up the rest of my night. my cousins cut their hair short! well a while ago, but i have not seen them since school started. but jeez,i think i'm the only one now with long hair. sunday: i have forgotten what i did today. i think i had work most of the day. it was not fun. i got off really late too, 10:30. oh, and then i went to the disney store to get soemthing, but before that, i ran into vince and asked if he wanted to come with, and he said no,and then as we were walking he said sure. and then brian klem and some girls came too. i was soooo tired,i just wanted to get what i wantedto get and gohome. monday: had school. woo hoo?! calledup jennifer, hung out with her a bit and then went homeand totally fell asleep and then woke up at 3? till 5 to finish stuff for my online class. fun. have i summed up everything? is that a good update? i think so. Sunday, November 10, 2002 i think i'm the only one who has to go to school tomorrowexcept my cal state fullerton buddies but most of them have tues/thur classes anyways except for jasmine...i think i want monday off too! you uc and occ people are so lucky vanessa, you don't count. you're in london but guess what? i get a week off for thanksgiving! hahahaha |
