Friday, November 22, 2002 dude, last night went alright. it was interesting. but dude, i feel like shit right now. something was said last night and it made me feel horrible. ahhh, nevermind. don't mind me. yay! today is the last day before my ONE WEEK thanksgiving break. sweet. i think i did alright on my chem test this morning, considering what little studying i was able to fit in yesterday. oh well.Thursday, November 21, 2002 vanessa, so you saw yellow submarine. isn't it cool? i saw that one..or most of it, and i also saw 'help!' that one was funny. the humor is great.i overslept this morning, but i had to come to class since i missed it on tues. jenn overslept too, but since she went to class on tues, she ditched today's class. serves us right for being out late on a school night. the update coming soon. i am really tired and sleepy, i think i'm gonna go find a couch and take a little nap. Wednesday, November 20, 2002 i got home from work yesterday at 8 and was on the internet till 10 trying to register for my classes. so many of the classes i wanted to take were full. damn it! but i finally found a class to fit in my schedule. so here it is:MW 9-9:50 Music 10-11:15 Women STudies break 1-2:15 Child & Adolescent STudies 2:30-3:45 Biology 4-5:15 Abnormal Psychology TR 9-11:50 Biology Lab you probably didn' t need to know my schedule now since i don't even start till february. oh dude vanessa, you've been ditching too?! haaha i ditched 2 of my 3 classes on monday, only went to lab. then tuesday, ended up ditching both my classes and today....went to chem, then went to film music and found that it was canceled. so in the last 3 days, i've gone to a total of 2 classes out of about 7 classes. sweet. so here's the story monday: so i ditched my classes today and only came for bio lab at 11-1, then took my family to disneyland. tuesday: had a bad day. came to school, thinking that i would print out my paper. found that there were no computers on campus that could read it. it seems that because i have windows 2000, i have a different version of Word. so i ran around searching for a computer and i was sent to places i've never even heard of or knew existed. i finally got to a computer lab (in the basement of one of the buildings) that had Windows XP, but it was for business majors only. screw them. i begged and pleaded them to let me print out my paper, and finally let me, only after saying, 'fine, but you have 5 minutes...go!' so by the time i finished, my class was almost over, so i came at the end and turned in my paper. then i didn't feel like going to my 2nd class, so i just went home early. wednesday: i woke up this morning preparing myself to go to all my classes. went to chem. didn't do much in there. went to film music class, sat down for a good 5 minutes without noticing that 95% of the class was gone. walked out and looked on the door, oh ok, class has been canceled. nice. but what a waste of my time getting to school for NOTHING! oh well, i guess this is a good time to study and catch up. thursday: ditched class today...wait, no i didn't. it was during my break, but everyone else ditched so it felt like i ditched school. jasmine, jenn, carla, and I (craig met us there) wanted to go eat breakfast and were trying to find the denny's near school, but no such luck. so we were gonna head to the one on harbor and orangethorpe, but on the way, we spotted 'niko's' which is this ma & pa type restaurant. Niko's is well known for it's 14'' big wheel pancake...something like that. we walked in and the few people (who were probably regulars) in there turned and seemed to stare at us like, 'who are these girls coming here?' being in this place felt like we were on a road trip and had stopped by some random place. They had on display an old stamp thing for checks, so we were messing with that and the waitress came over and was like, 'don't break it, i don't know what it is, but don't break it." then she got some ink on her finger from the stamp and wiped it on my arm. thanks lady. she wasn't so nice. you would expect these little places to have nice, friendly and warm people, but no, she wasn't so nice and friendly at all. anyways, we ordered the '1x2x2' which had 1 pancake, 2 sausages, and 2 eggs. jenn and i split that. dude, when they brought out the pancakes, our jaws dropped. dude, the pancakes were HUGE! 14'' I tell you! that's huge! it didn't even fit on the plate! we had to roll it up like a burrito to split it. we were all so full. it was fun. ditching spur of the moment is fun. friday: had school, then met jenn at the kid's club where she works. it was nap time for the kids. so cute. then we met everyone else at addison's. then went to watch harry potter. it was fun. after, went back to addison's house. had a little 'jam' session. it was fun. everyone just picked up an insturment and played random things. at one point, we were all playing 'only in dreams.' that's all jenn and i knew. then we gave up the instruments to the boys and they played some cool random stuff. then they busted out in fountains of wayne. cool. hung out there a bit, then i left to go see jennifer perform. it was nice. later that nigt....or should i say earlier the next morning....i called vanessa and when she picked up, i asked, 'did i wake you!!?!' (just for old times) we talked a while. i ran out of minutes on my calling card (as usual) wore it down like no other. then vanessa had to call back and we quickly wrapped everything up. |
