you go through life, and the only thing that really matters are the people around you, right? the ppl in your life, those who make your world move forward. how do you know these people? how do you really know that the people around you will not do you wrong. well you don't really know, do you? but you trust them. really, how do you know your next door neighbor won't rob you? you trust them. how do you know the food you buy hasn't been tampered with? you trust them. how do you know that when you come home at night, your your dog will still be there? you trust them. (and maybe you keep it in a cage so it can't get out) but basically, you go through life, and you have nothing but trust to hold on to. you can only trust people to do right and be the person that you see them as and that's all you really have that sets your mind at ease at night, right? what happens when that trust is gone? what happens when everything they say, no matter how sweet and innocent they sound, no matter how sincere they sound, can never be trusted again. what do you do? what do you do when it breaks your heart everytime you look at them? what do you do when the trust is gone?

woah, can you believe i've had this blog for almost 2 years?
and to think i used to have two other ones....i started one, then started messing with it and accidentally deleted it...the website still worked, but i couldn't post. so then i created a second one, which i think i still had, but i decided to change my address...so now i have this one, my THIRD blog and i've had it for 2 years. so i wonder how long i've been blogging for.
i would like to thank cliff for getting me started on this. it's a habit i just can't get rid of. no matter how hard i tried. hello? i've had 2 other blogs. i think i subconsciously tried to rid myself of blogging, but did it work, nooooo.

yes, hugs are nice. hugs are just so comforting sometimes. and hugs keep you warm on one of those cold,windy bonfire nights.
i read about the mexican candy study. i think i saw it in the paper 2 weeks ago. hellllo chris, where have you been? (kiddin'!) but yeh, so vanessa, no more picking up candy from the ground, okay? especially in your neighborhood of santa ana, you know, bear and macarthur. go to chris' page to read all about it.
