I woke up this morning, and my first thoughts were only to go back to sleep. Nevertheless, I couldn't because I had already wasted my "Get out of jail/get out of class" pass on Monday when I decided to sleep in a recover from the weekend, actually it was just from Saturday night. This morning, I dragged myself out of bed because I knew that there were people who expected me to be in class and these people would never let me live it down if I missed two classes in a row. Sigh. What will I do when I don't have this type of motivation, this type of humiliation of missing class, these types of friends. It was a drag to wake up, I slept in as much as I could, giving myself only 15 minutes to get ready and leave for school. Stupid me, I took longer than that and ended up arriving to class late. To a class where the nipple-sweating professor gives you only 1/2 credit for attendance if you're a minute too late. At least I beat Loren. He's always late. It wasn't until I was driving to school did I slowly really wake up. The sun and the weather was beautiful this morning and I couldn't understand why it was so hard for me to get myself out of bed. I need to make myself a "Good mornin', get your ass out of bed" playlist/cd or something because during that 40 minute drive, I felt like I could continue driving for much longer, enjoying the warm sunshine and the "fresh" air. I think I'm actually going to miss my morning drives next year. I won't have to drive to school anymore. How am I going to be awake and alert for class next year if I tend to wake up 15 minutes from the time I have to leave the house?
Anyways, waking up and going to class this morning was worth it. We got our assessment/exam back. I did fairly well, ok, I did really well considering I went into the test feeling VERY unprepared. 3.85 out of 4.0, I need to stop doubting myself. Anyways, with such motivation, I should be studying for Mamm Phys now.
