It's been quite a while since I last posted, or really posted. Maybe it's because blogger is so 3 years ago. Just as Friendster is so last year, and how myspace is so "now." (I still refuse to have a real profile up at myspace). I barely get the chance to keep in touch with my close friends, how in the world would I get the chance to keep in touch with all those "hey-remember-me-i-met-you-once-let's-be-friends" people. I was just reading an article in the school paper about how couples only hang out with couples. And I refuse to fall into that category. Just as I refuse to be "gross" around my friends (mainly single friends). Don't get me wrong, these are my standards, not yours. I don't judge. And so the article goes on to say that people's priorities change and friends they used to see everyday are now seen only every so often. And to that I must say it is so true. But I have to argue that it's just the general fact that people change and adjust their priorities in life based on their circumstances at this time in their life, regardless of whether they are in a relationship or not. I'd like to say that I miss the days when I would hang out with my friends all day, everyday, but times have changed. I do miss my friends. I do miss the fun, and I do miss the memories. But it's a memory that I won't forget. But these days, I don't really look back. I can't really look back because it seems like there's too much going on in the present and future for me to worry about the past. I have a lot in front of me, and a lot on the way. The idea freaks me out and intrigues me at the same time. I can't help but wonder if I'm getting in way too deep, and the thing is, I haven't even gotten anywhere yet. What scares me the most is will I even get there?
