i had fun yesterday. yes, fun in the hell hole called san diego. we met up with peter's friend chris and his girlfriend at the house that is, get this, right on the beach front. can you believe that? it was such a nice house. such a nice location. the view is amazing. and when i say amazing, i mean it. it's close enough to see the water and all the waves, yet far enough to not have to see the sand and all the people that may be walking on the sand. it's so peaceful. anyways, we got there around noon, went to get lunch and guess what? i saw anatomic rag, the vintage clothing store that jenn used to work at in downtown fullerton. well, i saw the store, and outside, i saw the owner as we drove by. i worked for him one day last year. i made 600 bucks for him. on a sunday! jenn told me she usually only made 60-100 bucks on a sunday. anyways, we hit the driving range afterwards and then visited the zoo. we didn't actually go in the zoo, we ventured around balboa park. we took a ride on the kiddie train ride. iit was actually a pretty good train ride. the train moved fast! who knew? there was this merry go round that was going so fast i got dizzy watching it. can you imagine how many kids must've thrown up after getting off that thing? we got back to the house and sat on the deck to watch the sun set. i played with rogue (their big dog) and she was the sweetest thing. except for her tail that kept whacking me in the face (when i was sitting down) and stomach (when i was standing). we then went to dinner and decided on mexican food. while we were waiting to be seated, we walked around the little mexican town and there was a market called 'bazaar del mundo'...and i thought, 'bizarres of the world?" and then peter's friend said, 'bazaar means market.' oh! that makes sense. now i understand why all those shops/markets in chinatown in san francisco were called 'bazaar.'
