i had a bonding moment with a friend from school. she's older than me, so it was really nice to hear that she was looking out for me. she said to me, "theresa, you need to focus. you're losing focus. you need to buckle down and get with it." and i said, "yes, yes, thank you. i really appreciate you telling me this. i need people to tell me this."
