Saturday, August 10, 2002 8/9/02 friday (well now it's saturday) 1:30 a.m.so...what has been going on? A LOT i'm just going to sum up things. i'm sure that vanessa and i are starting to overlap in our blog and website. we pretty much have gone through the same thing and write about the same ol' stuff, so i will keep it short and simple. 8/6/02 tuesday: did we make guacamole that day? or was that the day we made the strawberry cheesecake and chocolate silk pie? yeh, i think that was the day. that's all i remember from that day. i pretty much only remember things that have happened after the accident. 8/7/02 wednesday: we decided to take a road trip up pch and ended up in long beach and just on the border of la county. and guess what happened in long beach. WE GOT INTO A CAR ACCIDENT. we're all okay! THANK GOD! but my poor car! it's a long story so i'm not going into detail. BUT, if you want to know what happened, you can read what vanessa wrote. but keep in mind she LIES!!!! hahaha. her version is much more exciting than my version. i'm just so very glad that everyone was okay. and i am very thankful that they were there with me. i wasn't quite sure what to do. wait, i'm glad they were there, but i wished they weren't so they wouldn't have had to go through that. does that make sense? it was funny, that night when i got home, i asked my mom if she was wondering at all why we were all the way in long beach. she said that she thought we were hitting up another thrift store in long beach. hahaha we did, but it was because we spotted it on the side of the road, that was not our intention to go thrift store shopping way over in long beach! 8/8/02 thursday: vanessa picked me up bright and early in the morning and we went somewhere. oh yeah! we visited VINCE at starbucks! oh and this was the day where we almost got into ANOTHER car accident. stupid car didn't look before crossing the intersection. but thanks to vanessa's swift movements, and super sensitive brakes, she was able to avoid another disaster. good job vanessa! so after visiting vince, we went to a salvation army that we spotted nearby. then we went and signed papers with the lawyer and then went to the chiropractor. then i think we went to see legends that night. oh yes we did. i remember now. and we spotted my melee friends, jenn, allison, and ann tran. <--her name rhymes so you just have to say her name that way. although i'm sure she gets enough of that. jenn lifted me up off the ground! if you saw her, you'd know why it's such a surprise. she's small! she's petite like vanessa! hey vanessa, if she can do it, i'm sure you can too. 8/9/02 friday: no car, no where to go. i chilled at home and waited for vanessa to come by and pick my sister and i up and then we hung out at her house and waited for thy (minh thy) to come. <--she has my name! that's my entire vietnamese name. so i finally get to meet her after hearing so much about her and she is very nice and very cool. i like her. we waited for her and then we went to go see WEEZER!!! weezer rocks!!! yeah! good times. oh yeah, we saw AM RADIO, used to be called RIDEL HIGH. we kept yelling out "yeah RIDEL HIGH!!!" oh yeah, thank you for reminding me that i'm 19. made me feel even more of an oddball because 19 is such an odd number to me. screw being 19!!!!! i will forever be 18!!!!!!! i don't care what anyone says!!!! i live forever!!! i'm glad i got the chance to spend some time with both my sister and vanessa....and WEEZER!!! and they played pinkerton songs. the time i saw them before, they didn't play any. august is not a good month. summer seems to be quite unlucky for us. my poor baby! my car that is. other than that, everything is "A OKAY" vanessa has been my chauffeur for the last few days. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST! it's horrible that i don't have my car. i feel like i've lost an arm or something. i can't do anything. i wonder if they will let me rent a car. i wonder if i can get a focus. just like vanessa's. hehehee. how cool would that be?!? ooh, we could take pictures of the two cars. wow, i'm already thinking about taking pictures when i don't even know if i can rent a focus, or if they will let me rent a car in the first place.
